East Midlands Trains' liveries were designed by Best Impressions, based on the Stagecoach group house-style also used by South West Trains.
EMT has two liveries, a predominantly white scheme for the mainline London Services, and an blue scheme for the DMUs used on the Local services.
A pair of class 153 units had appeared in the 'blue' livery for the franchise launch in November 2007.
The livery is similar to that used on SWT class 450 trains introduced in 2003, and also the Sheffield Supertrams from 2006.
